The location of this accommodation is perfect, situated right in the heart of a charming town. Guests can easily walk to nearby attractions and amenities. the room itself was very nice, extremely clean, and well presented. the bathroom was spotless and well, maintained. the self check, in process was straightforward, and support was available if needed. the attached cafe offers a delicious breakfast and great coffee. Despite being in a busy location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay.

The check, in process could be more organized, as some guests faced confusion and delays in obtaining their room keys.

Greatly enjoyed my 1 night stay. Had spotless double room with very comfy beds as well as contact sheet. The location was marvellous for Fort Augustus, just next door to the centre of village on canal, eateries, and the Cafe. The bar was superb.

The location is stunning, with windows that overlook the locks. The recently renovated room had comfortable beds. There is a nice-sized private car park behind the building. We were well looked after and given local information on what to see and do. The breakfast in the cafe below was good, with great hot chocolate and coffee. we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Thank you!

Always come back to my favorite place in Fort Augustus. First stay, staff kindly helped with directions. Perfect for my city trips. Free Wi-Fi, off-site car park, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and non-smoking rooms. No regrets.

We had a wonderful stay at Loch Ness Gate House. the hosts were extremely hospitable, providing us with valuable local information on attractions and activities. They even gave us helpful advice about the heavy rain and flooding during our visit. the breakfast at the cafe below was delicious, especially their hot chocolate and coffee. the property was recently renovated and had everything we needed for a short stay. The location right on the Loch was ideal, offering beautiful views. Cons: No issues at all. 👍.

stayed in fort augustus before and loved it, but Loch Ness Gate House exceeded expectations. Great location, recently renovated, clean and tidy, with stunning views of the locks. Also, a private car park was a bonus. Highly recommended for a short stay!

Our stay at Loch Ness Gate House was a pleasant surprise. The location was ideal, with stunning views overlooking the canal. The accommodation itself exceeded our expectations, with comfortable beds and nice facilities. We also appreciated the easy parking right in front of the property and the good Wi-Fi connection.

One minor setback was the lack of reception and signage upon arrival, which made it a bit confusing to figure out how to get in. Fortunately, another guest was able to provide us with the necessary information, but it would have been helpful to have clear instructions beforehand.
